Kimberly Austin is a host, voiceover artist, actress and spokesperson. As a performer, Kimberly’s numerous credits span television and film, live events and radio.
She has hosted a live international webcast from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, acted in a Super Bowl commercial directed by music video pioneer Bob Giraldi (Michael Jackson, Pat Benatar), entertained 20,000 people as an emcee at one of Donald Trump's sold-out speaking engagements, and portrayed the White House Press Secretary in a wildly popular Onion News Network video.
As a voiceover artist, Kimberly has voiced hundreds of projects, and as a seasoned interviewer, Kimberly has interviewed public figures as diverse as best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert (“Eat, Pray, Love”), Naomi Watts, Michael Caine and Steve Jones (Sex Pistols). Movie junkets, man-on-the street, and one-on-ones are all part of Kimberly's repertoire.
While she is an expert in the areas of nutrition, behavior modification, knitting, crocheting, and pop culture, she is a huge fan of sports, classic film and music - especially pop, classic rock and country. These widely varied interests give her the ability to host a variety of show topics. “When I'm hosting, I really dig into the topic at hand. I enjoy doing the research,” she says.
Kimberly’s hosting abilities run the gamut from food programs to geeky electronics shows to rubbing elbows with movers and shakers. Whether she's driving around NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway (she really has!) or working the red carpet, she is a host with no bounds. Known for her quick wit, ability to put guests at ease, and gift for banter, her interviews are always compelling.
When she’s not working, Kimberly loves planning and taking road trips. “My favorite thing is to get in the car, crank up AC/DC, and find a good food factory tour, an obscure roadside attraction, or an off the beaten path restaurant that only the locals know about. I recently discovered the Kidd Marshmallow Factory in Henderson, Nevada. That was a good trip.”
